Certosa of St. Martino and Egg Castel


You can enjoy the best view of the city from the square located next to the Certosa of St. Martino, on the Vomero hill. Just sit on one of the several benches or look down from the muretto and enjoy the view of the entire city with the Saint Chiara church, and Spaccanapoli Street.

For even a better view you can reach the edge of Saint Elmo Castle and admire Naples’ seaside from Saint Lucy to Posillipo, with included the Egg Castle, the Maschio Angioino, Plebiscito Square, the Port, the Mont Vesuvius and Capri.


Saint Anthony Terrace


Saint Antony terrace is known as the Naples terrace or the thirteen ramps. From this location you can see one the best view of the city with the waterfront, the Egg Castle and the volcano.


Virgiliano Park


Located in Posillipo, the park is also called “Remembrance Park” and is renewed for its terraces facing the sea. From this top location, you will be able to see the entire gulf, Agnano, Fuorigrotta and Pianura area, the Pozzuoli gulf, the Bacoli gulf, the Mont Procida and Nisidia Island.

You can also admire the archeological site of Pausyllipon and the Sommerso Park of Gaiola.


Camaldoli Eremo


At 485 meters above the sea level, it is the highest point you can reach in the city, from where you can enjoy the best view of the city and much more, like the islands, the Sorrentina penisula, Capo Posillipo, the Fuorigrotta, Soccavo, Agnano, Pozzuoli area, and also the Flegrei Fields.

In the clearest days you can also see part of the Campania Region, but also Lazio and Roccamonfina, the Pontine Islands and the Matese Mountain.
